This one time. During a January episode of Clinton Kelly’s Happy Half Hour (HHH), I had weird idea. He was telling a story about having to get farfalle instead of cavatelli, and this phrase popped into my head: “Farfalle Follies”. It was a pun but a pun wearing an onomatopoeia pants. So I brainstormed a couple more silly word swaps for musicals I knew and about a week later this is what I made.
