Beginning on September 30, 2020 and running through November 3, 2020 (Election Day), I created a social photography project. Each day I posted an image that spelled out the word “vote” to Instagram with the hashtag #thingsthatspellvote. The concept of the project was that each composition would take 15ish minutes or less to produce, quick and creative.
Why 15 minutes? Fifteen minutes is the average time it takes someone to vote.
If I could commit to 15 minutes a day for 35 days making sharable images, I hoped that maybe it would inspire someone or remind you to fill out that ballot on the table, or it might help get out the vote in some way.
